Centering an object on the page - Need help!!

How do I center an object on the page?  I know how to center the entire document on the page, but I need to enter just one item within the page.  Can anyone help?

    Dear user,

That will have to be done manually by dragging with the mouse, as the "Center in Work Area" option is a global setting and it is not possible to apply it to individual objects.

If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

I actually had the same question.  I can certain move it via mouse, BUT having a center in work area or center on page option for "selected" objects would be extremely nice.  Please consider this for future versions!

What would be even nicer is a centering function that would work on any and all SELECTED objects. Suppose you were to string 3-5 differnet width rectangles on the same line on a page but you wanted them to be equally spaced across th page. A "centering function" could be arranged so that all objects selected would be centered on the page. Or, perhaps a lasso could be used to selecte the units to be 'centered". And don't forget the POSSIBLE need for centering vertically on the page.
