    SmartDraw 2009 - Export

    Hi there,

According to Knowledge Base Article #1046, the SmartDraw 2009 can export to the following file formats:

    • Windows Metafile (WMF)
    • Enhanced Metafile (EMF)
    • Bitmap (BMP)
    • PC PaintBrush (PCX)
    • Graphics Interchange Format (GIF)
    • Portable Network Graphics (PNG)
    • Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG)
    • Tagged Image File Format (TIFF)
    • Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML)
(Includes accompanying GIF, PNG or JPG)
    • Encapsulated Postscript (EPS)
    • AutoCAD (DXF - Version 14)
    • Computer Graphics Metafile (CGM)
    • Hewlett Packard Graphics Language (HPGL)
    • Portable Document Format (PDF)
    • Adobe Illustrator (AI - Version 6)
    • MicroGrafx Draw (DRW)

However, the list is not the same when we click the SmartDraw red button and choose Export.  Two formats which are of interest to me; AutoCAD and AI, are not there.

How do we get these into the list?

    Regards

Thanks for pointing that out. It's missing in the Export dialog, but there is another way to access those 2 export filters.

Access the Export Menu again and choose, Enhanced Meta File.  In the resulting Export Dialog, select the "Save as Type" drop down and scroll all the way down. Select either Autocad Exchange format or Adobe Illustrator. Then click save.
