Using the Maps: Using a data table to define Counties

We have a number of salesmen that are assigned their sales territories based on counties across states. Is it possible to use SmartDraw 2009 to outline these territories using a data import? If so, what is the format of such a file (I would assume Excel would be easiest) and how do we get it to work? We would also like to be able to indicate each salesman using a different color outline too.

Please email any ideas/suggestions to me at roy_rumaner at enproinc dot com

    Thank you

    Roy,

I am afraid that is not a capability we offer in SmartDraw.  We have county outline maps, but they are graphic only and would need to be manually filled with color using the Fill feature after selecting the county or counties in question.  See the attached example (of Arizona).

If you have any further questions, please let us know.
