Technology Adoption Lifecycle template

I'm looking for a template to draw a Technology Adoption Lifecycle chart, which uses a smooth, continuous curve similar to a normal distribution curve.

The line charts in the library use straight lines between data points instead of smoothed lines through data points.

Is there a "smoothing" feature that I've missed? If not, could this be added to the feature request list?

Hey all, I need to find some representative truck chassis top views to explain how much room we need to mount our equipment. When i pull in from a dpf file it always turns out fuzzy when printed of viewed... Any suggestions on where I could find a template of appropriate parts/drawings that could work??

Smartdraw Visual Representations & Examples That Others Have Created In demonstrating 'Value-Added' ROI

Hello,

I am a huge advocate of Smartdraw and love the improvements that are contantly being made. Especially in the support area, i.e., tutorials, guides, etc. However, as a business owner, I do not always have the time to review, create and utilize all the key features.

I am a highly visual person and when I see examples of what others have done or how they have utilized Smartdraw to effectively communicate an idea or message, I can very quickly assimulate their concept and convert it to what may apply in my situation.

So, I'm looking for examples of what others have produced and if they would be willing to share this with me. I am very much interested in an example of this type of scenario (being able to visually illustrate the ROI of my companies core services applied to providing a solution to a potential customers problem or requirement):

Starting with the customers problem, issue, or requirement.
Itemiziing and visually representing their current problem, issue, or requirement and the possible core root cause drivers of what that problem, issue, or requirement is.
Further illustrating a high-level, yet simplistic 'step-by-step' methodology to address and mitigate the problem (i.e., next steps to be applied).
Incorporating a time-line that illustrates that potential phases of the mitigation efforts and illustrates performance improvement.
Illustrating visually the Return On Investment (ROI) specifically to the customer.
Wrapping it up into final recommendations.

From what I understand of SmartDraw v10, several features could be used to produce the story-board of which I want to create.

If anyone has created anything similar to what I have described above, I would be most greatful for the assistance and would ensure that any 'propriatary' information is absolutly respected and would not be used. I am merely looking for an example of what I can create for my own business requirements.

Also, once completed, I would be more than happy to share the end result.

Look forward to some assistance from users of this forum.

We are building the syllabus of a Master in Railways infrastructure management. This higher education european course will be provided in Ukrainia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to young engineers. They will, then, hired by their National Railways Organisations to build the new "Silk Road" from Paris to Peking.

We bought SmartDraw to make understandable both

the MISCTIF project (i.e. the building of this syllabus) and

the Master in Interoperability, Security, Certification for International Railways.

Could you advise us on the various domains where SmartDraw could be applied with most efficiency?

For instance, we are thinking of building timelines to display the various steps in a process

we will use project management tools (even if we are using MS Project), etc.

We, also, own Visio but we are thinking of SmartDraw as an easier tool, a community of users, a comprehensive set of tools (including sound references to management theoris that help to understans why this diagram will be meaningful).

Many texts and drawings should be in russian!

Hi All,

I am trying to draw a cross-section floor plan with elevation. I need for example to include the wall thickness with insulation layers. I need this to get approval from the City to approve a new bay window and a push-out wall (Cantilever). They are asking me for the details of the thickness of the drywall, insulation and outdoor side-walls. I saw the storage templates but perhaps some that has more experience on this can post a good example for us.

Another question? How do I print the scale of the drawings?

I have been using SmartDraw since 2003 and I love it. I installed that other program by microstink once.

ONCE! I instantly deleted it. Great job SmartDraw look forward to seeing what the future holds.

Hello-

I am new to SmartDraw - first off - great tool. I have been looking for something that imports into Powerpoint that then Powerpoint can convert to native "objects" - sometimes I create a drawing in SwartDraw and I need to edit it in PP - the lines don't convert into PP objects but everything else does - so well done.

The reason for my post - has anyone made a horizontal SwimLane template that I can use? I need about 7 lanes. I realize I can make this myself, but I figured I would ask.

I'm looking for a business process modeling template (s). I'm using smart draw 2008 at the moment and I found a template on the smart draw website but you will have to install smart draw 2009 trial to get the template. Isn't it possible to get that template without installing smart draw 2009 trial?

Or are there any other sources for such templates? Maybe there are even the business process modeling symbols of six sigma available for smart draw.

Here is a sample of what can be done with a modified SmartDraw template. A good friend who does custom gates and fencing, including many of the major celebrities in the California Central Valley, wanted a brochure/handout for a local trade show. This was quickly and easily done with a modified SmartDraw template which resulted in a professional result without using a graphic artist. By using a high-end color Xerox print on heavy coated stock -- the entire process cost less than $50. One of the reasons, I stick with SmartDraw to improve my productivity. The gate on the top right is Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch.

I use smartdraw exclusively for site plans/ drainage plans, floor plans, sections/elevations.

Watcha fink of these?

I wish Smartdraw had more accurate rotation( 1-3 degrees) and decimals more accurate...but the Autocad Import/Export is great. I can import a survey from AutoCAD and use it.
