How do I insert automatic conectors in a simple, basic drawing?
I do not want to waste time trying to figure out what templates supports automatic connectors. In older versions of Smartdraw you could simply add them as any other shape/line.

That is not a capability we offer anymore. You would have to select and then copy and paste an automatic connector line from a drawing with one into the drawing you wished to add it into. That said it would need to have shapes on it, or it will not be available as deleting all the shapes will delete the connector line itself.
