    Importing graphics/symbols - FIXED

    Hi

I'm a UK based bathroom designer and want to use the symbols of their kit available from manufactures, i.e. I do not want to have to redraw everything! How I import eps, dwg files etc into smartdraw?

    David

EDIT - Sorry people. Just discovered RTFM and exactly how to do what I asked. Hey I'm a bloke, i DON'T do manuals ;-)

    David,

You can attempt to bring in the following file formats into a SmartDraw drawing:

    -WMF (Windows Metafile)
    -EMF (Enhanced Metafile)
    -BMP (Bitmap)
    -GIF (Graphics Interchange Format)
    -PNG (Portable Network Graphics)
    -JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group)
    -TIFF (Tagged Image File Format)
    -PCX (PC Paintbrush)
    -HGL (HPGL)
    -CGM (Computer Graphics Metafile)
    -PDF (Portable Document Format)
-DXF (in AutoCAD 14 format or earlier, AutoCAD 2000 is not supported)
-DWG (in AutoCAD 13 format or earlier, AutoCAD Release 14 and 2000 are not supported)
    -DRW (Micrografx Draw)
-AI (Adobe Illustrator Version 6 or earlier)
    -EPS (Encapsulated Postscript)
    -CDR (CorelDraw 6 or earlier)

Open a Blank SmartDraw drawing or the drawing you want to bring the file into, access the Insert tab and select “Picture” and browse for the target file in question.

    Regards,
