Shape Connection Points

In Smartdraw 2008, the number of connection points in Custom connections is limited to 16

Does a later version allow more connection points? I want to use this  to show connections between different pieces of equipment and 16 is just not enough. Continuous connections works but I want to restirct the connections to fixed points

You can edit that if you want by selecting the shape on the work area and then go to the Design tab and choose "Connection Points".  We offer a Knowledge Base Article on the subject here:

Tip: If you go to the Page tab and uncheck the "Use Snaps" option, you will have almost infinite connection point possibilities with the "Continuous" option selected.
