    Call for expertises and advices

    www.misctif.com

    Bonjour from France,

We are building the syllabus of a Master in Railways infrastructure management. This higher education european course will be provided in Ukrainia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to young engineers. They will, then, hired by their National Railways Organisations to build the new "Silk Road" from Paris to Peking.

We bought SmartDraw to make understandable both

the MISCTIF project (i.e. the building of this syllabus) and

the Master in Interoperability, Security, Certification for International Railways.

Could you advise us on the various domains where SmartDraw could be applied with most efficiency?

For instance, we are thinking of building timelines to display the various steps in a process

we will use project management tools (even if we are using MS Project), etc.

We, also, own Visio but we are thinking of SmartDraw as an easier tool, a community of users, a comprehensive set of tools (including sound references to management theoris that help to understans why this diagram will be meaningful).

Many texts and drawings should be in russian!

    Our website is www.misctif.com

It is currently managed by a young spanish student: Maria:  mariabv_87@hotmail.com

    I am Eric Delalonde, a 57 R&D project manager,

    thanks for your interest!

    Eric,

Your best bet would be to use the Flowchart Template and tools to show the processes.  You could use a timeline to show the timeframe of the process (event driven) but the process it self should probably be a flowchart.

We also offer Project (Gantt) Charts in SmartDraw that can bring in MS Project files and well as export to MS Project.  SmartDraw is English only though.

If you have further questions, please let us know.

    Regards,
