    Rajesh,

Currently the only way to use Chinese text in SmartDraw is to use a non-Windows standard Chinese only font.  If you attempt to use the Chinese version of Arial, Times New Roman or any of the standard Windows fonts, they will not work as we do not currently support Unicode.  An Chinese only font should work though, along with turning off the spell checking.

To turn off spell checking, click the round SmartDraw menu button in the upper left of the screen and choose "Spellcheck" and then uncheck the "Check Spelling as You Type" option.

    Re: Chinese language

    Wen,

Due to the default system font we use currently and several other factors (including the lack of Unicode support) we do not support non-Western text currently.  It is something we hope to resolve in the next version of SmartDraw.  If you have any additional questions please let me know.

If you have any other questions about this, or need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to call or email.

    Regards,
